This unit is about websites and how to explore and analyse a number of existing websites.
You will learn to distinguish effective sites from poor ones, and you will discuss the design features that make a site easy to use.
To achieve the pass criteria we must answer the following:
- Identify the hardware and software components which enable internet and web functionality
- describe the role of web architecture in website communications
- Explain the uses of websites organistaions
- Design website components considering client needs
- use appropriate formatting tools, styles and templates to prepare content for the website
- Create website to meet client needs
- Review website components, suggesting improvements
